Blue Light Register
BetaThis is a new service. Your feedback will help us improve it.

Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use the Blue Light Register, whatever their access needs.

This service is run by the Blue Light Register. We have designed it to be used by as many people as possible. You should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
  • zoom in up to 400% without the content breaking or text being clipped
  • navigate the service using just a keyboard
  • use the service with a screen reader
  • use the service on a mobile device as easily as on a desktop

How accessible this service is

This service aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard. Status information is never conveyed by colour alone — every status uses an icon and text as well as colour.

Reporting accessibility problems

If you find a problem that is not listed here, or you need information in a different format, contact the register. We will consider your request and aim to respond promptly.

Enforcement procedure

If you contact us with a complaint and you are not happy with our response, the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the accessibility regulations.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 17 June 2026. The service is tested against WCAG 2.2 AA on an ongoing basis as new features are released.
